The 2017 Thurston Climate Action Convention will be held at the Olympia Community Center in downtown Olympia. The Olympia Center is located at 222 Columbia St. NW, across the street from Percival Landing and minutes from the Olympia Farmers Market.

Getting there

The Olympia Center is convenient to virtually every bus line in Olympia. Routes 43 and 44 stop near the front door of the Olympia Center. The hub for Olympia-area bus service, the Olympia Transit Center, is located two blocks from the Olympia Community Center.

Those arriving by car from the North or South will take I-5 to Exit 105. Follow signs for the Port of Olympia and Plum St. You should end up on Plum St. heading North. After 0.6 miles, turn left on State St. After 0.5 miles, turn right onto Columbia St. NW. The Olympia Center will be found immediately on your right. If arriving from points West, take Rt. 101 to I-5 North and immediately upon joining Rt. 5 North, take Exit 105 and follow the directions above.

While in Olympia

We encourage attendees from out-of-town to plan on spending Saturday night in Olympia. The conversations will continue after the conference at various nearby establishments. We do not guarantee that participants in the post-event festivities will remain focused on the topic of climate change.
